Books and Boogers

So just tying to get this blogger thing down. Kind of fun to say what I want and if people want to read it great, if not, it's still fun!
I had all kinds of thoughts running through my mind lastnight, but now I can't remember very many. Maybe I will talk about my favorite books today!
I usually read a book a week and alot of times I re-read books. This week I am re-reading The Work and the Glory Vol. 1. I bought Tom and John both the first copy and I am the one reading it. I wonder if John is reading his? For those of you who don't know what this book is about, it is historical fiction based on Joseph Smith, the restoration of the church and the trial the saints go through. It is based on actuall events from history and centers around a fictional family and the things they go through. There are 9 volumes and they are all soooooo good! I would reccommend them to anyone who loves history, is interested in learning about the LDS Church and loves a good solid story.
Books I love to read are: Romance, not the trashy kind, but 'boy meets girl, they fall in love, they have opposition then still end up together after a nice romantic kiss and go off into the sunset.
Fantasy anything with fairies, dragons, wizards but not too dark. The more unrealistic, the better, there is enough reality out in the world.
The Fablehaven series is the best I've read so far and there is still one more book to go.
Mysteries trying to figure out 'who done it'. Some books are easy for me to figure out, others keep me guessing till the end. Mary Higgins Clarke is the best I have read. She has it going on!
Historical Fiction anything where I can learn a lesson and not know it. As I said, The Work and the Glory is awesome and I want to read them all again. I also love the story The Silver Touch.
Religious now the scriptures, do they count? I honestly have a hard time reading them like a book. Right now in Sunday School we are learning about the Book of Mormon and the way it is taught, makes me understand it alot more. I love anything with Spirital Warfare. This Present Darkness is good and anyone who wants to read a story about near death should check out Embraced by the Light.

Random thoughts for today:
*What happened to Ariel's mother? Is King Triton like a seahorse and raises his kids alone?

*Why do people pick their nose in the car? Don't they know that the car is made up of mostly windows and people can see them?

* Why are we so nice to strangers and people we don't live with but are total jerks to our family?

* Why does it take longer to lose weight than to put it on? And once we lose it where does it go? And since we never wanted it in the first place do we care that it is lost?

* Why do people (cars) hurry up to pass you then get in front of you just to slow down again?

* Why can't people who don't bath, don't wear deodorant, smell themselves? And why are we afraid to say something to them?

* Why is everything that is little, cute? Think about it, little baby shoes, little bugs, little.....oh anything?

* Why does Bella choose Edward over Jacob? He is much better for her. She wouldn't have to drink blood, she wouldn't get crushed to death and she wouldn't want to kill her family and friends. Plus, he is way cuter!!!

Quote for the day.....let me think.
If people are talking about me, then they are leaving someone else alone!

I don't know who or how many will read this and care, but if you do then leave a comment or something.
